Something new in the studio

My daughter Grace went to China this past summer to study mandarin. She wove it out of bamboo—the inside part of the bamboo is lighter and the outside of the bamboo is different shades of green.


There are handles near the top. The Chinese use these baskets in their field work - to carry weeds, rocks and other heavy items.
